Sam Jeffree is an ambitious young event rider from Macclesfield, Victoria who has not only had exceptional success at 1, 2, 3 and 4 star level on a string of different horses, but who is also intent on continuing to train and compete horses at the very top level! Sam's accolades have included National Young Rider Champion, Victorian Event Rider of the Year, and member of the Australian Senior Team for the Oceania Championships in 2022.
Sam completed his first FEI event at the age of 14, and he has had consistently good results in all three phases since. In 2017 Sam became a full-time rider and since then has produced multiple horses from training right through to top level FEI 4star horses, including Woodmount Lolita, Koyuna Tactician, Wimborne Conjuror and Santoro.
Recent results include 1 st place for Wimborne Conjuror at the 2023 Tonimbuk Horse Trials in
CCI3***, followed by a 4 th place in the CCI3***Long at Adelaide Equestrian Festival. It was a
win with Koyuna Tactician in the CCI4*** Long class at the 2023 FEI Summer Horse Trials,
who also went on to have a consistent season at that level taking out 7 th place and going
clear of any jump faults at both Adelaide Equestrian Festival and Melbourne International
Horse Trials. Santoro took wins in the CCI2** classes in 2022 at both the Tonimbuk Horse
Trials and Sydney International Horse Trials, then went on to place 3 rd in the CCI3***Long
class at the 2023 Melbourne International Horse Trials.
Sam also has exciting young prospects coming up through the ranks, including Wimborne
Caitlin who was named Young Event Horse Champion of Champions at the 2023 Dressage
and Jumping with the Stars.
Sam is also an NCAS qualified coach and is setting up an equestrian training complex on his property in Macclesfield, Victoria
