Sunshine Coast Riding for the Disabled

Sunshine Coast RDA (SCRDA) provides equine related therapeutic and recreational activities for people with a disability on the Sunshine Coast.

We currently offer 6 equine programs including Therapy Rides, Hippotherapy, Carriage Driving, Equine Assisted Learning, Saddle Club and Horse Interaction.

Our clients range in ages from 2 years to 50 years and above, and we cater for people with a wide range of disabilities including physical, intellectual, social, emotional and psychological.

As well as providing services to people with a disability, SCRDA gives people from all walks of life the opportunity to make a positive and valued contribution to our community. We have over 100 volunteers engaged in our organisation from diverse cultures and with a wide range of abilities, skills and expertise.

The support of Mi-Feed for many years has been an exceptional one, especially in times of Equine Flu, drought and Covid when the whole organisation has been financially impacted by a cessation of services through no fault of the organisation.
